Welcome to your guide on your journey of learning magic

Resources

Here are a list of various books and authors that are useful for future searches, as well as authors, books, and groups to avoid.

Recommended Books

  • Three Books of Occult Philosphy or Magic by Agrippa, Heinrich Cornelius: One of the earliest books written about western occultism. Avoid the third book, it is about Kabbalah, which requires extensive knowledge of Jewish traditions to understand.
  • Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs by Cunningham, Scott: Considered to be one of the definitive texts on magic herbs. Cunningham is one of the leading minds of Gardenian Wicca, so beware of a Eurocentric bent on his work.

Authors to Avoid

  • Silver Ravenwolf: Very controversial and known for her rather bigoted views on certain religions. Encourages unsafe behavior and lying to parents.

Groups to Avoid

  • Become a Living God: Basically a cult. Leader is a scam artist. Community encourages unsafe practices including discussion of human sacrifice.
  • Asatru Folk Assembly: White surpremacy organization with ties to extremist groups.

Disclaimer: This is a fake website designed for the fanfiction "All the Queens Men". While it is based on real world occultism practices, it is not accurate and should not be used to actually learn occultism.
